Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Psychology or a related field to gain valuable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for education and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in a supportive environment. The role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom behavior, and providing one-to-one support to students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behavior
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
