Heavy Vehicle Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Service Manager to join our team at Txm Recruit Ltd. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.
About the Role:This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. You will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and will be based in Elland, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the efficiency and safety of our fleet of vehicles.
- Oversee the development and implementation of digital maintenance systems to improve data management and efficiency.
- Lead a team of technicians in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets the required quality and safety standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. They should also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements:- Level 3 NVQ / City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
