Job Title: Senior Mobile Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:

  • We are currently recruiting for an Engineer Surveyor / Engineer Inspector who has worked on mobile and mechanical equipment/ apparatus within the renewable energy sector, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, banking, retail, power and utilities including nuclear, automotive public sector mobile plant emergency services transport and construction.
  • The ideal candidate will be joining a growing team preparing for expansion within UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of site equipment (Lift - MEWP's, Cranes, FLT's, OR pressure systems), to ensure compliance with current UK regs (e.g. LOLER & PUWER).
  • To write, and deliver reporting documentation on all inspections undertaken for the client.
  • To identify any change recommendations to the client, as per UK regs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that inspection activities are integrated into the overall project/site plans.
  • Be the point of contact for external clients, offering advice when required.
  • To advise / be conscious of Health & Safety whilst on sites, when offering recommendations and providing reports.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • HNC, HND
  • 3rd party Inspection experience
  • 3 years working experience, within the UK.
  • Clean UK driving license
  • Independent inspection qualifications/tickets desirable
