About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to join our team at Vermelo RPO. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our range of products to ensure we meet our business plan targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Collaborate with our Product Head to identify new product opportunities and develop pricing recommendations based on analysis of data, broker intel, and market trends.
- Underwriting Performance: Manage and review our product range to ensure they remain current, competitive, compliant, and able to meet business targets.
- Key Account Management: Foster strong relationships with key accounts and other business partners to maintain and develop profitable relationships.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market developments and opportunities through research and analysis of market trends, broker intel, and media.
- Operational Support: Investigate and respond to queries from the operational area in relation to policy issues.
About You:
- Experienced Underwriter with a strong analytical background.
- Proven track record of data mining and analysis.
- Commercial awareness, market knowledge, and process awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and use initiative.
- Knowledge of Excel functions and data analysis.
- Knowledge of SAS software is beneficial.
