We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team in South Bedfordshire, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a transforming mental health service, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop psychologically informed care. As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you will provide evidence-based interventions, including individual, couple/family, and group work, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop psychologically informed care.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide teaching, training, and supervision to colleagues and doctoral psychology trainees.
- Participate in regular psychology meetings and contribute to ELFT-wide initiatives.
We are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalence, and eligibility for BPS CPsychol and HCPC registration. You will have experience in providing teaching, training, and supervision, and a strong knowledge of clinical psychology, including lifespan developmental psychology, models of psychopathology, psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
