Responsibilities:
- Lead with Empathy: Provide exceptional care and support to residents, prioritizing their emotional and physical well-being.
- Maintain Excellence: Uphold high standards of care and service, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Inspire and Motivate: Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to meet each resident's unique needs.
- Medication Management: Administer medication as instructed, adhering to guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor and Respond: Continuously monitor residents' wellbeing, responding promptly to any concerns or changes in their condition.
- Foster Communication: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, ensuring clear and open communication.
Requirements:
- Caring Nature: A compassionate and empathetic individual who prioritizes the needs of others.
- Experience: Proven experience supporting older adults, ideally including those living with dementia.
- Leadership Skills: Confident and experienced in leading a care team, with a strong ability to champion the wellbeing of residents.
- Qualifications: SVQ or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
