At Pupil, we're expanding our production team with a highly skilled Floor Plan Quality Assurance Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a background in surveying and a strong understanding of measurement standards.

About the Job

We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure that architectural floor plans meet our company's quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience with RICS Code of Measuring Practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing floor plans for accuracy, verifying measurements, and documenting any discrepancies or errors. They will also work closely with our design team to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Review architectural floor plans for accuracy and compliance with design standards
  • Verify measurements, dimensions, and scaling on all floor plans
  • Check symbols, annotations, and legends for clarity and correctness
  • Maintain documentation of QA processes and defects identified
  • Ensure timely turnaround on quality checks to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of architectural floor plans, building layouts, and construction drawings
  • Proficiency and competence with RICS Code of Measuring Practice
  • Comprehensive understanding of International Property Measurement Standards (IPMS) for both commercial and residential buildings
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical ability to identify errors or discrepancies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
