Join Our Team as a Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team at Randstad Student Support. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record achievement levels using our internal reporting system
  • Deliver engaging sessions that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities
  • Achieve measurable outcomes from each session to assess impact and inform future instruction
  • Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support and well-being
  • Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support
  • Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback gracefully
  • Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
  • Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children

Essential Qualities:

  • Inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT skills, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities
  • Reliable broadband and internet connection
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and motivate students
