Job Title: Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team in Brighton. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing leaks in copper and plastic pipework, installing and repairing radiators, managing hot and cold water systems, and performing 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Repairing leaks in copper and plastic pipework, and waste pipes
  2. Installing and repairing radiators
  3. Managing hot and cold water systems
  4. Working with unvented hot water systems
  5. Performing 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems
  6. Conducting power flushing
  7. Handling boiler breakdowns, installations, and servicing

Requirements:

  1. Full UK driving license (up to 3 points acceptable)
  2. ACS qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
  3. Unvented G3 qualification (desirable)
  4. CSCS Skilled Trade Card (desirable)
  5. Asbestos awareness certification
  6. 3 years breakdown experience (on your own)
  7. Clean DBS (dependent on severity)
  8. Valid DBS certificate
  9. Two references from previous employers
