We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineering professional to fill the role of Engineering Manager within our Transportation team. Based in Birmingham, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of highway assets, including carriageways, footways, bridges, and street lighting.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing surveys and inspections of highway structures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and codes of practice. You will also develop and manage programmes of work for various highway assets, maintaining accurate data on the Confirm information management system.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree or qualification in an engineering specialism, with knowledge of relevant legislation and Codes of Practice. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of the Birmingham highway network and a current full driving licence.
