Security Guardian

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at Jarman Park. This role involves protecting clients' staff, assets, and infrastructure by providing a security presence in addressing issues dealing with fire, damage, theft, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent against property and asset loss.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm functions, being aware of their operation and responding accordingly.
• In line with company policy, carry out routine search procedures in a sensitive manner for vehicles, buildings, and persons.
• Effectively deal with incidents falling within the security remit and report them to relevant authorities.

Main Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff. This includes maintaining awareness of potential security threats and taking proactive measures to mitigate them. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Salary: £12 per hour, based on a 2-week rotation on nights. The shift pattern consists of two weeks on Thurs/Fri/Sat 1900-0700, followed by two weeks on Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat 1900-0700.
