Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team

We are looking for an individual with experience in supporting children with emotional or behavioural needs, who can motivate and build relationships with young people from vulnerable backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping pupils learn and improve their life chances, and will have a natural ability to prevent or de-escalate challenging behaviours.

The role is a full-time, long-term temporary position, paying up to £100 per day, with the potential to become a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The Role

Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 4:20pm

The SEMH Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher in delivering lessons, engaging and motivating pupils, and assisting with input to learning.

The successful candidate will promote safety, inclusion, and a positive learning environment at all times, and will have the patience and determination to persevere through challenges to help young people make progress.
