Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores & Logistics Officer to join our team in Crawley. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in handling customer inquiries, ensuring timely order processing, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer requests for materials, sales, and exchange inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Meet AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Prepare orders for shipment to vendors and customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate deliveries with couriers for expedited service, ensuring timely and reliable delivery.
  • Perform data entry using the Quantum system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain an organized filing system, ensuring easy access to important documents and records.
  • Receive materials from suppliers and conduct quality control inspections, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Handle and store aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices, in a safe and secure manner.
  • Address queries and manage rejected parts, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Pack parts for domestic or export dispatch, ensuring accurate and secure packaging.
  • Maintain shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth company operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license beneficial, with familiarity with the Quantum Inventory system also beneficial.
  • Forklift truck license desirable, with Hazardous Goods in Transit certificate advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
