Job Title: Recovery Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Liverpool. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

About the Role

Our Recovery Workers work closely with clients to help them determine their goals, ambitions, and passions, and develop a tailored treatment plan to support their recovery. This involves delivering continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, and delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.
  • Support clients through their recovery from opiate dependence, working in partnership with an outside organisation.
  • Travel across the Liverpool region to support clients at locations convenient to them.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed, and be resilient under pressure.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills, and be comfortable using IT and digital media.
  • Be organised and able to manage your time effectively, and be flexible with your working hours on occasion.
Requirements
  • Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months.
  • Have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting.
  • Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed.
  • Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Be comfortable using IT and digital media.
  • Be organised and able to manage your time effectively.
  • Be able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion.
