Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to support students with additional learning needs in a welcoming primary school in Widnes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously worked with children or adults requiring extra learning support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking student progress, offering feedback and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children or adults with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
