Civils Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to join our client's team on a Civils project in the Buckinghamshire area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and experience working on Utilities projects. The role will involve day-to-day site management duties, including managing site activity, programming work and resources, health and safety planning and monitoring, client and sub-contractor liaison, and reporting on project progress to the project teams. The successful candidate will be the main site contact and will report directly to the Operations Director. The role requires a high level of expertise in Civil Engineering, Utilities experience, and knowledge of method statements and risk assessments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the project teams carry out the works to a high-quality standard in a safe manner and to agreed timescales while maintaining profitability and ensuring that all incidents/accidents and near misses are reported correctly. The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a valid CSCS card. Key Responsibilities:

* Manage site activity, programming work and resources

* Plan and monitor health and safety procedures

* Liaise with clients and sub-contractors

* Report on project progress to the project teams

* Ensure that the project teams carry out the works to a high-quality standard in a safe manner and to agreed timescales

* Maintain profitability and ensure that all incidents/accidents and near misses are reported correctly

Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering

* Utilities experience

* Degree qualification

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Valid CSCS card

* Knowledge of method statements and risk assessments
