About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Beaumont Manor Care Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident interactions and conditions.
- Lead and guide your team to deliver top-notch care, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Monitor resident health and administer medications safely and effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
- Promote independence and autonomy in daily activities, while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
- Act on feedback and prioritize resident health and well-being.
- Champion respect and dignity for every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
- Encourage social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
- Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment for all.
- Support balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
- Respond to emergencies and utilize reflective practices to continually improve our care.
About You
- You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
- You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
- You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with people and bring warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
