Job Title: Traffic Banksman

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Banksman to join our construction team in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic on site, using standard hand signals and verbal communication to direct drivers and manage traffic flow to minimize queuing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the site is free from pedestrians and manage traffic flow to avoid congestion
  • Use standard hand signals and/or verbal code to direct drivers
  • Identify and manage risks on site, including blind spots
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:

CPCS or NPORS certification is essential for this role. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of traffic management principles and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
