We are seeking a highly skilled Foster Care Supervisor to join our team in the West Midlands. As a key member of our Social Work team, you will be responsible for overseeing the supervision and assessment of foster families, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care. About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will provide expert support and guidance to foster carers, managing a caseload and working closely with the team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Your extensive experience in the fostering sector will enable you to effectively coach and mentor foster carers, enhancing their skills and confidence.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assess foster families to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to foster carers to enhance their skills and confidence
  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, prioritising tasks and deadlines to meet expectations

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. A strong understanding of child protection laws and procedures is essential, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of vulnerable children and families.
