About the Role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage the credit control process and ensure timely payment from our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control and cash collection process, ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Continuously look for ways to make the debt-collecting process more accessible, while supporting the wider team.
- Full responsibility for cash collection for the assigned ledger.
- Manage and resolve disputes to agreed turnaround times to assist in cash collection.
- Monitor and manage bad/aged debt with relevant business line leads and finance business partners weekly.
- Weekly reporting of top high-risk customers.
- Maintenance of ledger, including unallocated cash, write-off proposals, and credit balances.
- Processing of accounts to external debt collection agencies where appropriate.
- Account reconciliations as necessary.
- Consistent review of 180+ day accounts and escalate in line with internal processes.
- Monitor and manage credit limit alerts from external agencies to prevent risk.
