We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at ProTalent. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the accounts production team and ensuring high standards of work are produced consistently and timely.

The ideal candidate will have some work experience within an accountancy firm already and be comfortable with bookkeeping and accounts production. They will also be keen to learn more and progress in their accountancy practice career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounts production team and ensure high standards of work are produced consistently and timely.
  • Work with the Accounts Seniors and Managers to ensure high standards of work are produced consistently and timely.
  • Manage company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work on various software packages such as Xero, Sage, and Iris.
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and third parties to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an accountancy firm.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
