Job Title: Head Gardener

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Gardener to join our team at PSN Recruitments Limited t/a Cosmopolitan Recruitment. As a key member of our gardening team, you will be responsible for maintaining, nurturing, and developing gardens to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of gardeners to ensure the highest level of service and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programmes and schedules to ensure the health and development of gardens.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, designers, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the quality, health, and development of gardens.
  • Implement company Health and Safety documentation and follow reporting processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in gardening or horticulture, with a relevant qualification (RHS or City and Guilds, level one minimum).
  • Excellent communication and horticultural skills, with the ability to motivate and support others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to effectively delegate and utilize skills within the team.
