Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience to contribute to our cloud solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS technologies and a strong background in IT consulting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management: Plan, implement, and scale AWS cloud infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and optimize performance.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment: Manage CI/CD methodologies for deploying microservices and Lambda functions, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement cloud-based software services that meet technical and business requirements.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Utilize tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK to implement IaC, ensuring consistent and scalable infrastructure deployment.
  • Monitoring and Logging Solutions: Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to maintain system performance and reliability.
  • Security and Data Protection: Ensure the highest levels of data security, applying AWS best practices to protect information assets and safeguard client data.
  • Best Practices Documentation: Define, document, and enforce best practices and strategies for cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud engineering with deep expertise in AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
  • Proven experience in managing CI/CD pipelines for microservices and Lambda functions.
  • Strong background in IT consulting and cloud analytics, with a focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • In-depth understanding of AWS security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like AWS CloudWatch.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and manage secure, scalable cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across cross-functional teams.
