Job Title: General Cover Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Cover Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a General Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for providing cover for classes in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work, and assessment material
  • Teach pupils according to their educational needs, with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ensure positive behavior management in accordance with school policies
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, discussions, and management systems
  • Foster strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Excellent classroom teaching skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • High expectations of students' achievements and attitudes
  • Ability to teach in KS3 and KS4
  • Commitment to students, with a belief that education can drive growth in young people
