About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Bethany Lodge, a residential home providing support for young adults with a disability.

As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and maintaining a high standard of physical and mental wellbeing for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out procedures for assessment of residents' needs and ensure care plans are implemented and monitored in line with NMC guidelines and current legislation.
  • Administer medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Maintain and contribute to the standards of professional care, ethics, policies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to formulate care plans and utilize appropriate assessments.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
  • A legal right to work in the UK
  • Compliance in PEG, Catheter, diabetes management
  • An understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, Epilepsy, or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in documentation and care planning and medication
  • Working knowledge of manual handling, DOLs, and MCA, dysphagia
