Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook Manager to lead our food service operations at various schools in Fulham and Staines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with Sodexo's culinary standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and Sodexo's quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food service operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic food handling skills certification, such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £per hour.
  • A 30-hour workweek, with a flexible schedule that includes Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 2:00pm.
  • A term-time only contract, paid over 52 weeks.
  • Reimbursement of all travel expenses.
