FixMyCar, the UK's leading online marketplace connecting garages to customers, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Growth Strategist. As part of our mission to ensure best value and service for drivers and offer great commercial opportunities to member garages and associated partners, this role will drive new and existing business opportunities and forge valuable partnerships to maximize revenue. Reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with sales strategy/priorities and providing regular updates/input into decisions relating to new business/existing opportunities.

This exciting opportunity requires an individual with impressive industry knowledge (aftermarket) and proven experience in client onboarding and passion for building strong relationships. You will seek and develop relationships with new clients across B2B sectors, understand client requirements and goals, and pitch solutions that meet their needs to secure new business/enhance current partnerships.

We are looking for a Commercial Growth Strategist who can:

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, Niterra HQ processes/procedures/approval matrix, and protect sensitive client/business data;
  • Possess a strong understanding of company products and competitors in the industry;
  • Create and socialize new strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities;
  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry leaders and internally share knowledge of industry demands/trends;
  • Understand client requirements to ensure internal alignment on capability and timelines to support an accurate proposition;
  • Explore avenues to enhance partnerships, revenue opportunities, and identify competitive advantage;

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience in business administration, sales, marketing or a related field. A proven track record of successfully onboarding new clients, strong sales and communication skills, and excellent negotiation and influencing skills are also essential. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage client information, track activities, and produce reports is a plus.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, fully remote/flexible working, 25 days annual leave + birthday leave, private medical insurance (70% company-funded), life assurance (4x basic salary), pension (5.5% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution), employee assistance programme, flu vaccinations allowance, home-based allowance, eye test allowance, two volunteering days, and elective work location change. We also offer a holiday buy-back scheme: buy five additional days after one year's service.
