Risk and Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our team at AWE PLC.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization in the field of risk and assurance, and to contribute to the development of our risk management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen risk, control, and assurance
- Develop and maintain an assurance map
- Provide reporting for the Corporate Assurance function, applying standards, processes, and metrics to inform decision making
- Identify improvements in how we assure risks
- Knowledge of modern corporate governance, assurance mapping, and enterprise risk management techniques
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrable evidence of performance reporting and analysis
- Background in a Science & Technology/Public sector/Regulated organization, preferably in a governance, risk, or audit role
