Job Responsibilities

This role involves advising clients on commercial property transactions, conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice on landlord and tenant matters. The successful candidate will also be responsible for resolving disputes related to commercial property and managing a caseload of commercial property matters.

  • Advising clients on commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and developments.
  • Conducting due diligence on commercial properties, including title checks, planning permissions, and environmental assessments.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to commercial property transactions.
  • Providing legal advice on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and dilapidations.
  • Resolving disputes related to commercial property, such as boundary disputes, breach of contract claims, and lease disputes.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, government agencies, and other professionals involved in commercial property transactions.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in property law and regulations affecting commercial properties.
  • Managing a caseload of commercial property matters efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in commercial property law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
