About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an ASD/ADHD Support worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in a new Designated Unit for Autistic Young People.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with ASD and ADHD in a full-time holistic provision
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavioral strategies to support students with challenging behavior
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience working with students with ASD and ADHD
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Protocol Education:
