Job Summary:

Capture HealthCare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Neurological Hospital setting. As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and advising individuals with disabilities on their ability to drive or travel safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with disabilities to determine their ability to drive or travel safely
  • Assess and advise on relevant equipment, including simple devices to hi-tech solutions, to enable safe transportation
  • Work with Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) to assess learner drivers and review driving ability for current license holders with neurological conditions, age-related changes, learning difficulties, and mental health issues
  • Provide vocational driving and motorbike riding assessments

Requirements:

  • Band 6 Occupational Therapist qualification
  • Experience working in a neurological hospital setting
  • Strong assessment and advisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and healthcare professionals
