About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Traka (Assa Abloy). As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our organization and driving innovation in the field of physical access control solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with other architects to ensure subsystems and components fit into the overall vision and strategy of a holistic ecosystem of products in the HID PACS portfolio.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate and contribute in planning events, workshops, and system demonstrations to drive technical alignment between research and product engineering teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Technical Alignment: Identify and reduce inter-team dependencies through carefully considered technology stacks and Application Program Interfaces.
  • Agile Practices: Drive and support continuous improvement and other agile practices, creating and promoting best engineering practices during development lifecycles.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience: Ten years professional experience in support of product development, with demonstratable software development experience, a focus on large scale solutions, and experience in the creation of specifications for communications, data persistence layers, service orientated architectures, and other technology stack building blocks.
  • Skills: Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software, and networking, with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of end to end PACS systems.
