Care Companion Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated Care Companion to support an active 13-year-old boy with Autism, ADHD, severe learning disability, and non-verbal communication in the Bath area.

The ideal candidate will provide companionship and support for 5 hours per week, preferably on a Saturday or Sunday, and occasionally in the evening. Additional hours may be available during school holidays.

The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour for weekdays and weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support at home and in the community to help build confidence and engage in social activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mature, patient, and has experience working with individuals with Autism and behavioral issues. A calm but firm manner, good sense of humor, and lots of energy are essential qualities for this role.

A full, clean UK driving license is required as car owner. The ability to promote safety in the community and danger awareness is also important.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this position. This role is initially to cover maternity leave but may lead to a permanent position.
