We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Total Community Care Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community.
As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in various complex areas, including rehabilitation, learning disabilities, and mental health. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized support to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes and in the community
- Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Supporting clients with rehabilitation and therapy programs
- Encouraging clients to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care or support role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
