Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher looking for a new challenge? Step Teachers is working with a Well-being Centre in Wembley to find a qualified Nursery Teacher to join their team in a Long-term (Supply) Position where you can collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who care and make a significant difference to children's educational success and future attainment.

Nursery Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school to achieve common goals.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Comply with the schools' policies and implement them reliably to ensure a smooth operation.
  • As the Deputy Headteacher, you will assist the Headteacher in the overall management and administration of the school.
  • Manage student welfare and behaviour, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment that fosters academic excellence.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and enhance the school's reputation.

Nursery Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and its application in a primary or preschool setting.
  • Have recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Experience working with SEND is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students towards achieving excellence.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the school community.
