Culinary Expert

Location: Chesterfield, S44
Estimated Salary: £13.57 per hour
Days: 37.5 hours per week (to be discussed, possibly 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm)

We are recruiting for a Café Cook to join our team in Chesterfield. As part of the catering team, you will work alongside a Chef to produce approximately 500 meals per day. The successful candidate will prepare and cook meals to high standards while maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe kitchen environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking food as per set recipes.
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality and diet specific dishes.
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen.
• Developing and maintaining good working relationships with service users, visitors, staff, and Managers.

Criteria:

• Food Hygiene level 3 or willingness to work towards (assistance can be provided by GI Group).
• Ability to cook with fresh ingredients from start to end product (set menu).
• Relevant experience of working in the catering industry and/or experience of working in a similar type of establishment.
