About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Management System (BMS) Project Manager to join our team in Central London.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects across diverse sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the BMS work package and coordinate with M&E packages.
  • Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including the setup and maintenance of the Health and Safety File.
  • Implement standard procedures for managing all aspects of BMS work packages.
  • Set and manage site QA in collaboration with the Project Manager and team.
  • Manage the project schedule, ensuring timely appointment and progress of subcontract packages.
  • Report progress and provide weekly 3-week lookaheads, maintaining the site diary.
  • Coordinate information requests and design elements with architects, design engineers, M&E designers, and contractors.
  • Review issued information for content, buildability, compliance, programme impact, and variations.
  • Ensure timely approval of all materials and systems via a technical submission process.
  • Manage project costs with the support of the project QS.
  • Conduct regular quality checks, create snag lists, and ensure zero snags on handover.
  • Implement structured communication, information flow, progress, and cost monitoring systems with subcontractors.
  • Participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Manage the closeout of all project flow streams, including the final account, O&M manuals, safety file, and QA file.
Requirements
  • Degree in BMS Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Preferable experience in Data Centre or high-tech sectors.
  • Proficiency in project management and information management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of civil, structural, building envelope, and finishes details.
