Role Overview

The Growth Consultants is a specialist training and consultancy provider seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by developing high-value partnerships within the Central Government, Defence, and Corporate sectors.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging with, and managing key decision-makers to develop long-term relationships that deliver significant value. About the Role:

  • Drive strategic growth by developing high-value partnerships within the Central Government, Defence, and Corporate sectors
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop long-term relationships
  • Secure annual contracts worth £250,000+ through effective relationship-building and negotiation
  • Support the company's growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop high-value partnerships
  • Generate and secure annual contracts worth £250,000+
  • Support the company's growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from identifying the opportunity to contract negotiation and closing
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training and consultancy services
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in account management, particularly in securing high-value contracts (£250,000+)
  • Experience working within the Central Government, Defence, Corporate, or related sectors
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
  • Willingness to work from our Worcester headquarters, with a hybrid model available after integration
