The Growth Consultants is a specialist training and consultancy provider seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by developing high-value partnerships within the Central Government, Defence, and Corporate sectors.
You will be responsible for identifying, engaging with, and managing key decision-makers to develop long-term relationships that deliver significant value. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the industry's leading organisations, building relationships that deliver long-term value.
About the Role:
- Drive strategic growth by developing high-value partnerships within the Central Government, Defence, and Corporate sectors
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop long-term relationships
- Secure annual contracts worth £250,000+ through effective relationship-building and negotiation
- Support the company's growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
- Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop high-value partnerships
- Generate and secure annual contracts worth £250,000+
- Support the company's growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from identifying the opportunity to contract negotiation and closing
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training and consultancy services
- Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business
Requirements:
- Proven track record in account management, particularly in securing high-value contracts (£250,000+)
- Experience working within the Central Government, Defence, Corporate, or related sectors
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
- Willingness to work from our Worcester headquarters, with a hybrid model available after integration
