The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years post-qualified audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment, with a strong understanding of audit and accounts preparation, corporate taxation knowledge, and preferably NFP expertise.

As a key member of our Corporate Services department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and contributing to overall practice development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, providing excellent service and responding to client and HMRC queries in a timely manner.
  • Take on more advanced work from partners and delegate routine work to junior staff to aid cost-effectiveness and develop their skills.
  • Develop knowledge of clients and their businesses as the point of contact on day-to-day matters.
  • Review and finalize audit files, accounts, and corporation tax work prepared by junior staff.
  • Identify business opportunities and assist partners with specific value-added assignments.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualified audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing staff within a practice environment
  • In-depth knowledge of audit and accounts preparation, corporate taxation knowledge, and preferably NFP expertise
  • Strong marketing, networking, and business development skills
  • Strong IT skills, experience with MS Office, audit, and accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pro-active management skills, resulting in high-performance teams
  • Live within commuting distance of Banbury
