This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Non-Resident Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, promoting professional standards, and undertaking administrative duties associated with the care of patients and running of the department.
Main Duties:- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in gynaecology and ante-natal out-patient clinics
- Conduct colposcopy clinics and special interest clinics
- Participate in theatre and labour ward cover
- Ensure compliance with GMC registration and entry onto the Specialist Register
- Develop and maintain skills in laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy
- Experience in oncology and advanced laparoscopic surgery
- Accreditation in colposcopy and advanced laparoscopic surgery
- Active involvement in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
- Competence in laparoscopic hysterectomies and colposcopy
