Waste Management Engineer

TIP Trailer Services Netherlands is looking for a highly skilled Waste Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of waste vacuum tankers and other tanker types.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all tankers are maintained to a high standard and that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and service tankers to meet maintenance standards
  • Repair tankers to a high standard, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic work
  • Develop subject matter expertise on Cappellotto waste tankers
  • Workshop-based role with occasional service van repairs at remote locations across the UK
  • Perform operational training and product familiarisation for customers and stakeholders
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that demonstrates TIP values and behaviours

Requirements:

  • Time-served experience working with tankers or HGV types
  • Experience in similar fields, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, or plant machinery
  • Previous mobile working experience
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete written documentation
