Laboratory Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Müller UK & Ireland. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our dairy products by conducting tests and analyses, and providing expertise through quality-based testing and data evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality-based testing and data evaluation
  • Display drive and motivation to continually improve quality-based performance
  • Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems/trouble shooting through data analysis and evaluation
  • Play an active part in building QMS capability across site
  • Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc)
  • Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities
  • Have a good understanding and play an active part within the performance management system (PMS)
  • Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports
  • Responsible for internal and external audit processes
  • Display good team work ability

  • HACCP Awareness (Level 2-3)
  • Basic Food Hygiene
  • Microbiology and aseptic techniques
  • Internal Audit
  • Yellow and Green belt problem solving
  • A3 problem solving
  • Electronic Data Capture
  • Dairy Science
