Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician/Vehicle Technician to join our team at First Bus, Doncaster depot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle electrical systems, including engine management, automatic/semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, and electronic destinations.
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks.
- Be fully conversant with diagnostic equipment, including multi-meters, temperature gauges, micrometers, vernier gauges, and ECU diagnostic computer equipment.
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 1 & 2) and on-the-job working experience.
- Fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems.
- Valid UK driver's license.
- Electrical bias and ability to demonstrate this at interview.
