About the Role

Cavendish Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Management: Develop and manage the construction programme, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project timelines.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, including the management of subcontractors and site workers, to ensure that the project is progressing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment on site, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure that it meets the required standards and specifications, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, main contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned with project progress.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site attendance, progress reports, and incident logs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any challenges or issues that arise during construction, including delays, material or labour shortages, and unexpected complications.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the project is compliant with all relevant local authority regulations, building control requirements, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • SMSTS certification
  • Driving licence (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to progress and learn towards a professional role
