About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatrician to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical opinion across a wide range of problems within General Internal Medicine and Geriatric medicine.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties of the role include taking full and independent responsibility for the care of patients, working closely with colleagues in primary, secondary and intermediate care, and getting involved in admission prevention, virtual wards, proactive community services for older people living with frailty, advance care planning and end of life care.

Person Specification
Essential qualifications include MBBS or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, full registration with the General Medical Council GMC with licence to practice, entry on Specialist Register in Geriatric medicine, and holder of Certificate of Completion of Training CCT in Geriatric medicine or within 12 months of award of CCT by date of interview.
