Job Title: Highways Project Management Expert


Location: Essex, UK


Salary: £90,000 (c£100k+ DOE) + competitive benefits package including car allowance, healthcare, pension and performance bonus to 25%.


Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment is working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a busy project pipeline in the Construction industry. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their c£50m New Build project in Essex. As a well-respected employer, they offer a market-leading benefits package and a healthy secured order book for 2025 onwards.


About the Role:



  • Manage all aspects of project management functions from planning, design, financial management to practical construction delivery of the project.
  • Lead a team of up to 20 staff members.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on-site.

Requirements:



  • Previous experience as a No1 PM managing projects over £30m.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-construction project management, contract management, H&S, and exceptional client-facing skills.
  • A stable career history working for Top 100 Main Contractors on projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications & Skills:



  • Degree in Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • NVQ/HNC qualification.
  • CSCS Card and NVQ Level 6 or BSc/MCIOB qualification.
