The Job Description:

School Overview:

Our client school is a primary SEND school located in Enfield, providing specialist education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school has a highly specialized team of staff who are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans that promote student growth and independence, collaborating with colleagues to monitor progress, and communicating effectively with parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans for students with ASD
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas of strength and weakness in student learning
  • Communicating regularly with parents to ensure they are informed about their child's progress
  • Supporting students to develop essential life skills and become independent learners
  • Engaging with the local community to enhance opportunities for students

Requirements:

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher with a strong background in teaching students with ASD. You should hold QTS or equivalent qualifications and have significant experience in adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.

Salary:

The daily rate for this position is £180 - £245 per day, depending on experience.
