We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operative to join our team at our Lancing-based client. As a Press Brake Operative, you will be responsible for operating Press Brake machines, Guilotine, and other equipment to cut, fold, and bend Aluminium and Galvanised sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Press Brake machines to produce high-quality metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
- Cut, fold, and bend Aluminium and Galvanised sheet metal to meet customer specifications
- Prepare Press Brake machines for production and maintain a clean workspace
- Meet customer satisfaction standards by delivering high-quality products on time
- Experience using Press Brake machines and other metal fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Aluminium and Galvanised sheet metal properties and handling
- Forklift experience/certification is an advantage
- Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00 / Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (42 hours per week)
- Plenty of overtime available
- Two 15-minute paid breaks
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
