About the Role

We are recruiting for a Pharmaceutical Laboratory Technician to work in our Quality Control Laboratory in Dundee, on a contract basis for 6 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and compliance by following good housekeeping practices, GLP, GMP and Data Integrity requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Health and Safety: Report incidents, identify risks and hazards, wear PPE and guide others on HS&E.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and compliance by following good housekeeping practices, GLP, GMP and Data Integrity requirements.
  3. Testing and Investigations: Perform testing to support department deliverables, including starting materials, finished products, stability samples, non-routine and project testing, laboratory investigations and validation testing.
  4. Team Support: Provide technical expertise, support analysts, investigate OOS/OOT/OOE and close team actions.
Your Background
  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline like Chemistry or Biology.
  • Experience in analytical chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy and classical techniques.
  • Strong GMP and Data Integrity knowledge.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Pharmaceutical, Laboratory or related industry experience.
  • Laboratory investigation skills.
  • Document review and testing report skills.
  • Chromeleon Software experience.
What We Offer

This role offers an estimated salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience. If you are a motivated and experienced laboratory technician, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
