Job Title: Childcare Solicitor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced solicitor to join our team as a Childcare Solicitor. The successful candidate will have a strong background in childcare law and be able to work with clients on complex cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex childcare cases, including Care proceedings, Deprivation of Liberty applications, Secure Order applications, Special Guardianship Orders, and Adoption.
  • Undertake own advocacy in court, working closely with colleagues and external contacts to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in childcare law and practice, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years PQE in childcare law.
  • Excellent organisation, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
